アメリカで大麻法の改革に取り組むNORMLに、THCの「提言」をメールで送りました。丁寧で嬉しい返信を頂いたので、やりとりを紹介します。

Hello.
We are a small (Japanese NGO) citizen's group which is pursuing a course of action to establish the right of cultivation and possession of cannabis for personal use in Japan.
We know about NORML through articles translated by a Japanese volunteer and feel deep respect for your cause and efforts.
We submitted 'A Proposal for Reforming Cannabis Control under the International Treaties' to Japanese Government and the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs.
Our intent is to illustrate the negative impact of the current Japanese cannabis laws under the zero-tolerance policy mandated by prohibitive international treaties. We hope that collectively with other organizations worldwide that our actions will compel the international body to objectively review subject international treaties and revise the regulation of cannabis consistent with the facts presented during such a review.
The following proposal document is provided for your information and was recently submitted to the 51st session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs.
